Vera Case
Vera E. Case, 60, of Saint Marys, died 3:37 P.M. Sunday, March 7, 2021, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
She was born November 3, 1960, in Jellico, Tennessee, the daughter of Clyde and Judy (Orick) Moore. She married William Case on August 16, 1990; he survives at the residence.
She is survived by Bill's siblings; Linda (Randy) Hoying of St. Henry; Diane (John) Moore of Cincinnati; Susan (Don) Gossman of Corydon, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde Moore and Judy Moore (Clay) Beagle; by her husband's parents, William and Theresa Case; by a sister-in-law, Carol Case.
Vera was a 1979 graduate of Saint Marys Memorial High School. She was a nurse's aide for many years, and had worked at the Lone Pine Nursing Home in New Bremen and the Saint Marys Living Center.
She enjoyed being around her many friends, and loved her pets very much.
Funeral rites will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 13, 2021, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, Pastor Elmer Davis, officiant. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M Friday at the funeral home. Vera cared deeply about pets and abused women, so memorial gifts may be given either the Auglaize County Humane Society or the Auglaize County Crisis Center.
All visitors to the funeral home are required to wear a mask, in accordance with the mandates of the Ohio Department of Health.
