Light snow across the area early this morning will increase in coverage and intensity toward sunrise in the I-70 corridor. This band of moderate snow will push south affecting the Tri-State region by mid morning, eventually pushing south of the area by early to mid afternoon.
Snow amounts of 1-2 inches will common for a good portion of the area on grassy surfaces, with melting on concrete surfaces limiting accumulations. Main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on mainly bridges and overpasses.
Temperatures today will remain steady mainly in the upper 20s. These cold temperatures combined with gusty winds of 20-25 mph will result in wind chill values in the teens to lower 20s.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Monday morning commute.

Vaccination clinic set today
CELINA - On the anniversary of the area's first known COVID-19 case, hundreds of people will be at Mercer County Fairgrounds today to be vaccinated against a virus that has claimed the lives of 146 Mercer and Auglaize county residents in 365 days. [More]

2 Auglaize sheriff's deputies hurt in foot pursuit, scuffle
WAPAKONETA - A man and woman were taken into custody Tuesday after the wild pursuit of a reportedly stolen van went across county lines and through some farm fields.
CELINA - City councilors unanimously passed final reading of legislation to establish public electric vehicle charging stations in Celina after some eleventh hour questioning of details including potential station sites and contract duration.
CELINA - The Celina Lions Club has raised nearly $65,000 toward the creation of a multipurpose facility with shelter house, restrooms and concession area for year-round use, planned for the Bryson Park District along Lake Shore Drive.
