Dog killed, mother and baby survive

Osgood Fire Department and Ohio State Highway patrol personnel respond to an accident at State Route 716 and Indian Trail on Thursday afternoon. The driver was heading southbound on State Route 716 when the vehicle struck a dog, shutting down the road from Indian Trail to Huwer Road. Both the mother and baby in the vehicle were uninjured. The dog did not survive.
