The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Douglas Kruger
Douglas Scott Kruger, age 67 of Celina and formerly of Middlefield, Ohio passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021.
He was born on June 26, 1953 in Celina, Ohio to Roland and Jeannette (Fetters) Kruger-Zimmerman. Douglas was survived by his mother and step father Jeannette (Charles) Zimmerman of Celina, his sister and brother-in-law Teresa (Gregory) Harris of Grove City, his sister-in-law Sandra Kruger of Lewis Center, two nephews Ryan (Heather) Kruger of Thornton, PA., Casey (Sara) Kruger of Sterling, MA, and three nieces Ashley (Gary) Spanraft of Delaware, Megan Gibson of Baltimore, Sara Stine of Cincinnati.
He was preceded in death by his father Ronald Kruger and his brother Gregory Steven Kruger.
He graduated from Celina High School with the Class of 1971. He then proudly served his country in the United States Navy, until 1975. He retired from Alltel Corporation in Middlefield, Ohio after 35 years of service.
He was a member of the Celina American Legion Post #210. He enjoyed fishing, he was a fan of The Ohio State University football team and a life-long Cleveland Brown's fan.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30a.m. on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Kenneth Lehman officiating. Burial will follow in the Mercer Memory Gardens Cemetery in Celina, with Military Honors provided by the Celina American Legion Post #210 and the Celina V. F. W. Post #5713.         Friends and Family may call before the funeral service, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home. All attendees are asked to observe social distancing and weara mask for the safety of all attending services.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Celina American Legion Post #210, 2510 State Route 703 Celina, Ohio 45822. Condolences may be shared with the Kruger Family on-line at LehmanDzendzelFH.com.
