  The Fort Recovery FFA Poultry Judging Team recently placed fifth out of 67 teams in the state, bringing home a banner, according to an FFA news release.

  The team had to grade interior and exterior egg quality and the carcasses of chickens and turkeys, judge broilers and layers and take an exam over the poultry industry.

  Team members were Makena Ellenberger, Olivia Hawk, Clark Knapke, Owen Knapke, Alayna Laux and Megan Metzger.

  Hawk, the daughter of Joe and Nikki Hawk, placed sixth individually in the state out of 282 individuals.
