Robert Tangeman
Robert John Joseph Tangeman, age 79, of Celina, died on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at the Joint Township Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
He was born August 19, 1941 in Coldwater to the late Linus John & Luretta (Dearworth) Tangeman. In December of 1964 he married Nancy Jane (Heinselman) in Lebanon, West Virginia and she survives in Celina.
He is also survived by children, Tracy (Bob) Keiser of California, Jodie (Darren) Ankney of Celina, Todd Gilbert (Beverly) Frideger of New Bern, NC, Robert John Joseph Tangeman II of Melbourne, FL; a son-in-law Ben Reed of Celina; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by a daughter Robyn Jo Ellen Reed and a sister Joan Adams.
Robert was retired from Safeway Packaging. He was an avid professional radio control pilot, professional skydiver, war and plane historian and a Cessna pilot. He had many talents, was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and he never met a stranger he did not call a friend.
Private family services will be held on Monday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater. Burial will follow at the St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
