Landen Michael Lochard, 7 hours old, died 11:53 a.m. on Thursday July 22, 2021 at Miami Valley Hospital, where he had been born earlier that same day.

He is survived by: parents Jacob and Caitlin (Stauffer) Lochard of rural Wapakoneta, OH; Paternal grandparents: Eric (Jodi) Lochard of Wapakoneta, OH; Michelle (Mike) Foulkes of Wapakoneta, OH; Maternal grandparents: Missy (Monte) Headley of St. Marys, OH; Shawn (Monika) Stauffer of Buckland, OH; Paternal Great-grandparents: Ray (Kathy) Lochard of Wapakoneta, OH; Bill (Edythe) Henschen of New Knoxville, OH; Maternal Great-grandparents: Brenda Chaney of St. Marys, OH; Barbara Slaven of Botkins, OH; Mike (Dianna) Bollinger of Lakeview, OH; Randy (Brenda) Stauffer of Ada, OH.

Preceded in death by: great-grandfather Herbert Slaven, Jr.

Landen's birth was very much anticipated by his parents. They feel extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to see him and hold him in their arms, if only for a little while. He will forever hold a special place in their hearts!
