* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 810 AM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Gary Kremer
Gary Kremer, age 70, of Coldwater (formerly of St. Rose) died Friday, August 13, 2021 at Heritage Manor, Minster.
He was born December 8, 1950 in Celina to Mark & Bernice (Niekamp) Kremer. On February 16, 1973 he married Virginia (Lochtefeld) Kremer and she preceded him in death on February 2, 2021.
He is survived by children, Ben (Kelly Jo) Kremer of Cincinnati, Jody Kremer of Troy and significant other Matt Gignac and David (Kelly) Kremer of Burkettsville; six grandchildren; and siblings + in-laws, Fred (Mary) Kremer of Maria Stein, Sue Kremer of Englewood, Vicki (Thomas) Siegrist of Ft. Recovery, Roger (Deborah) Kremer of St. Henry, Allan (Deb) Kremer of Carthagena, Lois Siefring of Montezuma and special friend Frank Will Arling, Kay Overman of Ft. Recovery, Deb (Bob) Post of St. Henry, Lisa (Tom) Severt of Coldwater, Jay (Shelly) Kremer of St. Henry and Doug (Deb) Kremer of St. Henry, Joe Reinhart of Trinity, IN, Henry Hoelscher of Winamac, IN,.
He is also preceded in death by a daughter Jennifer; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Irwin & Marie Locthefeld, siblings and in-laws Doris Reinhart, Patricia Hoelscher, William Lochtefeld, Chuck Overman, Terry Kremer and Greg Siefring.
Gary was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church, where he served on the church choir and as a communion distributor. Gary proudly served in the United States Army in the Vietnam Era as a Military Police in Belgium. He was a member of the Maria Stein American Legion and the color guard. He was also a member of the Maria Stein Knights of Columbus. He worked for ODOT for 25 years and was a DJ with the Spinning G's for many years.
  Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am, Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at St. Rose Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Rose Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 pm Monday, August 23 and from 9 to 9:45 am Tuesday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association, Alzheimer's Association or the Cancer Association of Mercer County.
