At 1212 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near New Bremen, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Newport, Fryburg, Montra, Egypt, Uniopolis, New Bremen, Buckland, Botkins, New Knoxville, Fort Loramie, Kettlersville, Moulton, Jackson Center, St. Marys, Anna, Kossuth, Lakeview, Lake Loramie State Park, Waynesfield, and Wapakoneta.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 96 and 118.

Raymond Wilson
Former Fort Recovery resident, Raymond A. Wilson, of Avon Park, FL. passed away on August 27, 2021.
He was born July 24, 1932 in Scottsville, KY to Walter & Bertha Wilson. Ray married Lois Smith who proceeded him in death on April 14, 2021.
He is survived by three children, Mike, unknown, Linda of Decatur, IN and Randy (Patti) of St. Cloud, FL. Three grandsons, Chad (Brandi) and Curtis (Charlene) of St. Cloud, FL and Spencer (Magen) of Decatur, IN. One granddaughter, Michelle, CA. Two great grandsons, William & Toby and four great granddaughters, K'Lian, Carolica, Zoey and Oakley. In-laws: Richard (Linda) Smith, Commerce, MI. and several nieces and nephews.
Proceeding him in death besides his wife and parents are a sister and her husband, Edward & Grace Powers and sister, Ruth Ann Devine.
Ray worked for Gels Bros. driving truck and Ft. Recovery Industries and also drove school bus for Ft. Recovery schools before moving to Florida in 1985. Ray was a Retired Army Veteran serving in the Korean War and a recipient of The Combat Infantry Badge, Korean Service Medal with 1 Bronze Star, United Nations Service Medal and The Purple Heart. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion, VFW and DAV.

Burial, with full military honors, will be held at a later date due to the rising numbers of COVID-19.
