Robert Rindler
Robert W. Rindler, age 93, of North Star, Ohio, died on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater.
He was born March 23, 1928, in North Star, Ohio to the late Joseph & Loretta (Dilloff) Rindler. He married Elizabeth "Betty" (Grilliot) Rindler on June 28, 1952, in Versailles, and she passed on April 6, 2017.
Bob is survived by six children: Larry & Karen Rindler of Jamestown, TN, Sharon & Jim Magoto of Versailles, Ken & Dee Rindler of Ft. Loramie, Alan & June Rindler of Versailles, Lisa & Barry Bohman of St. Henry, and Joyce & Pat Kelly of Springboro, 16 grandchildren, and 39 great grandchildren and one on the way.
In addition to his parents and wife, Bob is preceded in death by a grandson, Chad Garrison.
He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, North Star. Bob was a lifelong farmer; he lived his whole life on the farm and in the house in which he was born. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle along with his wife Betty in the side car. He and Betty enjoyed spending time at their cabin in Tennessee. Bob felt he had a perfect life and was grateful for his many blessings.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at St. Louis Catholic Church, North Star with Fr David Howard presiding. Burial will follow in St. Louis Cemetery, North Star.
The family will receive friends following the burial, at the luncheon in the St. Louis Church Basement.
