Gary Hoenie
Gary Allen Hoenie, 69, passed on to his Lord and Savior September 27, 2021, in Jacksonville, Florida.
He was born May 30, 1952, in Celina, Ohio. He attended Celina Sr. Highschool and graduated with the class of 1970. He married the love of his life, Margie Rogers, on March 8, 1974, and together they had four children who further blessed him with eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and "Papaw." Gary spent his early years working as a telephone contractor, construction and maintenance, and finally with FedEx the last 10 years of his life.
A memorial gathering and celebration of his life occurred at his home Saturday, October 2, 2021.
He is survived by his wife, Margie Hoenie; children, Traci Morrow, Shane Hoenie, Shawn Hoenie, Tess Marquez; grandchildren, Farah, Cody, Trevor, Brooklynn, Trey, Ellie, Riley, Mya; and great grandchildren, Kallia, Kalel, Kade and Benjamin, Brother Edwin Hoenie, Sisters Arlene Salzmann, Diane Alvarado, Denise Westgerdes and Angie Dalton. He will be forever missed.
