* WHERE...Portions of east central Indiana, including the following county, Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Delaware, Franklin, Greene, Hardin, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, Shelby and Union.
* WHEN...From midnight EDT tonight through Thursday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of rain will occur overnight into Thursday. The heavier bands of rainfall will have 2 to 4 inches with locally higher amounts.

John Romer
John F. "Jack" Romer, age 85, of St. Henry, died on Wednesday October 27, 2021, at his residence in St. Henry.
He was born May 22, 1936, in St. Henry to the late Leo & Ida (Wimmers) Romer. On November 22, 1958, he married Betty (Hartings) Romer, and she survives in St. Henry.
Jack is also survived by children, Karla & Kevin Clune of St. Henry, Kathy & Jim August of Miamisburg, Lynn & Tom Hemmelgarn of Springboro, and David & Carla Romer of St. Henry, 13 grandchildren, Jonathan Clune & fiancé Kensey Siefring, Elizabeth & Bradley Stahl, Hannah Clune, Zackary & Chelsea Hart, Noah and Ethan Hart, Connor, Alec, and Kaitlyn Hemmelgarn, Emma, Jack, Ben, and Adison Romer, and siblings and in-laws: Rebecca Moorman, Ruth Romer, Freda Hartings, Patsy Broerman, Linus & Carol Hartings, and Myron & Patty Hartings.
  In addition to his parents, Jack is preceded in death by a son, Matthew Romer, and siblings and in-laws: Jim & Marge Romer, Albert Romer, Bob Moorman, Ernie Hartings, Evelyn & Louis Bertke, Thelma & Lawrence Broerman, Virginia Hartings, Virgil Hartings, Lester & Dolores Hartings, and Alfred Broerman.
  Jack was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, St. Henry, and the St. Henry Knights of Columbus. Jack was Chairman of the Board at The St. Henry Bank and the Ottoville Bank Co. He was a member of the Mercer County Elks, the Heritage Club, and served in the National Guard. Jack was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed golfing and spending time in Florida and was a proud community member of St. Henry.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, November 1, 2021, at St. Henry Church. Burial will follow in St. Henry Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1:00-5:00pm on Sunday October 31, and from 9:00-10:00am on Monday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
