At 153 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near De Graff, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph, frequent cloud-to-ground lightning, and very heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Lightning can cause serious injury or death. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible.
Locations impacted include... Sidney, Bellefontaine, West Liberty, Jackson Center, Russells Point, De Graff, Lakeview, Chippewa Park, Roundhead, Quincy, Huntsville, Port Jefferson, Logansville, Mcmorran, Maplewood, New Hampshire, Bloom Center, Pemberton, Lewistown, and Springhills.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 88 and 90.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.
Motorists should slow down and use extra caution.

SOURCE...Radar indicated and surface observation station reported.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Lightning can cause serious injury or death. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible.
Locations impacted include... Ada, Alger, Waynesfield, Mcguffey, Dola, Huntersville, State Route 195 at State Route 235, and New Hampshire.

Juvenile Court Judge Matthew L. Gilmore, far left, swears in the first group of Court-Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) in Mercer County on Monday. The aim of the newly-formed CASA program is to "help children emerge from the trauma of abuse and neglect to an environment where they can thrive." The nine volunteers include Chuck Meyer, New Bremen, Deb Hemmelgarn, St. Henry; Nikki Hemmelgarn, Coldwater; and Beth Smalley, Angela Gibbons, Lisa Post, Sandy Dieringer, Tannar Rutschilling and Ted Bertke, all of Celina. The swearing-in ceremony was the final step after thirty-hours of pre-service training.
