* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...Until Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 12.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

Ronald Schmiesing
Ronald J. Schmiesing age 69 of Minster, Ohio died on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Lima Memorial Hospital.
He was born on January 20, 1952 in Piqua, Ohio to the late Urban & Rita (Liening) Schmiesing.
He is survived by siblings: Marilyn & Leonard Holdheide, Maria Stein, Pat & Vernon Grieshop, Yorkshire, Henry Schmiesing, Minster, and in-law Paul Broering, St. Henry and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Nancy Broering.
Ron graduated from Minster High School in 1970. He served his country with the Army Reserves from 1971 to 1976. He was an employee of New Idea, Kard Welding, Haulette and most recently as a paper carrier for the Daily Standard. He enjoyed being with his family and many Eagles and Legion friends. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Egypt and the Men's Sodality of the church. He was a member of F.O.E. #1391 Minster and was presently serving as Conductor and Treasurer of District 22.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30 AM on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster. Burial with full military honors will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery, Egypt.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 4 to 7 PM on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 and from 8:30 to 9 AM on Thursday.
In Lieu of flowers the family requests donation be made to the Cancer Association of Mercer County.
