At 1212 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near New Bremen, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Newport, Fryburg, Montra, Egypt, Uniopolis, New Bremen, Buckland, Botkins, New Knoxville, Fort Loramie, Kettlersville, Moulton, Jackson Center, St. Marys, Anna, Kossuth, Lakeview, Lake Loramie State Park, Waynesfield, and Wapakoneta.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 96 and 118.

Ernest Staugler
Ernest J. Staugler, age 89, of Coldwater, died on Monday, January 31, 2022, at Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater.
He was born August 30, 1932, in Coldwater, Ohio to the late Charles & Catherine (Herman) Staugler. On August 3, 1963, he married Marita 'Rita' (Droesch) and she survives in Coldwater.
He is survived by two daughters, Brenda Hart of Celina and Cathy & Keith Huber of North Star; six grandchildren, Josh Hart, Mariah & Dan Jones and Joey Hart, Terra, Trina, Trey & Trent Huber; siblings and in-laws: Joan Staugler and Clarence Staugler both of Coldwater, Carolyn Staugler of Montezuma, Cyril & Mary Ann Droesch of St. Henry, Jerry Droesch of St. Henry, Marge Meiring of Piqua, Bob & Shirley Droesch of St. Henry and Janice & Nick Hess of Coldwater.
He is preceded in death by a grandson, Trevor Huber; siblings and in-laws: Helen Staugler, Mary Lillian Staugler, Ernestine Staugler, Irene & Ralph Meinerding, Kathleen & Bernard Muhlenkamp, Herbert Staugler, Paul & Irene Staugler, William Staugler, Charles Staugler, Robert Staugler, Ralph Staugler, Margie Staugler, Germaine & Anthony Steinbrunner, Gene & Janet Droesch and Kathy Droesch.
Ernie was self-employed as a floor installer. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater and the Coldwater V.F.W. Ernie served in the US Army during the Korean War. He loved to spend time outdoors especially fishing and following the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, February 7, 2022, at Holy Trinity Church. Burial with military rites will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Friends may call from 1 to 4 pm on Sunday and 9 to 10 am on Monday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
