At 1212 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near New Bremen, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Newport, Fryburg, Montra, Egypt, Uniopolis, New Bremen, Buckland, Botkins, New Knoxville, Fort Loramie, Kettlersville, Moulton, Jackson Center, St. Marys, Anna, Kossuth, Lakeview, Lake Loramie State Park, Waynesfield, and Wapakoneta.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 96 and 118.

David Benanzer
David Frank Benanzer, 68, of Findlay, passed away unexpectedly Monday, January 31, 2022, at his residence.
He was born May 31, 1953, in St. Henry, Ohio to William and Alice (Schmerge) Benanzer. David married Judy Gelhaus September 7, 1974, and they later divorced.
David graduated from Coldwater High School Class of 1971 and attended ITT Tech graduating in 1973 with an associate degree. Shortly after, he joined the Engineering Group with RCA in Findlay up until they closed. David then worked for Roki and retired from there. He joined Findlay Jaycees in 1979 till 1993 as part of committee that started Safety Town and was Chair of Committee to bring the 1st Drum & Bugle Corps competition to Findlay. David was a partner of Mad Hatter Promotions between 1989 to 2006. For a few years, he was political advisor to Northwest region of Ohio Jaycees, on the committee for the Chili Cook Off, raising money for American Cancer Society for three years, and co-ed volleyball through Findlay Recreation Department for a few years. David also crewed balloons for the Balloon Fest and was on the Target Committee that would follow balloons and measure how far away from their target once they landed. Above all David's accomplishments, he loved spending time with his family. He loved to fish, play poker, loved anything outdoors, and always enjoyed a Stroh's beer.
David is survived by his daughter, Nichole (Jeff) Schade of Findlay; two grandchildren, Grant Conley, and Maya Schade, both of Findlay; one brother, Larry (Pat) Benanzer of Versailles; sister, Jan (Ron) Haley of Tipp City; brother-in-law, Fred Reithman of St. Henry; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tom Benanzer; and sister, Nancy Reithman.
Friends and family may visit Tuesday, January 8, 2022, from 2 - 5 p.m. at Hufford Family Funeral Home, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500).
