By Leslie Gartrell
HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP - A woman was killed Saturday afternoon after she was struck by a pickup truck while crossing the street, according to a Mercer County Sheriff's Office news release. This is Mercer County's second fatal crash of 2022.
Marjorie M. Meeds-Gehm, 69, Celina, reportedly was at her mailbox at 9155 U.S. Route 127 and attempting to cross back west over U.S. 127 when she was struck by a southbound 2020 Dodge truck driven by Kevin N. McLane, 22, Lakeview. Mercer County Central Dispatch received a call at 1:47 p.m. reporting the accident.
