* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...Through Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A lull in rainfall will continue for much of the day. However, additional storms will move into the area later this afternoon. The risk of heavy rainfall will be greatest tonight into early Friday morning. There is also the potential for storms to repeatedly move over the same locations, which increases flash flood risk.

Sandy Frey
Sandray J. Frey, 72, of New Knoxville, died 3:17 P.M. Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 3, 1949, in Cincinnati, the daughter of Carl and June (Schmieder) Kuenning. She married William Frey on September 2, 1967; he preceded her in death on May 5, 2013.
She is survived by her son: David (Susan) Frey of New Bremen; her granddaughters: Amanda (Zach) Hellwarth of New Bremen; Ashley (Dillon) Boroff of Russia, Ohio; by her four great-grandchildren: Hazel, Coralee, Greyson, Bennett, and one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, Bill
Sandy was a 1965 graduate of New Bremen High School. She played in the marching band, and was a majorette and cheerleader. She decorated cakes and cookies for many years, and also did crafts. Sandy had also worked at the Lone Pine Nursing Home in New Bremen as the activity director. She was also the secretary and taught Sunday School at the former Zion Church for many years. Sandy was always a dog lover; she had two dachshunds and they were spoiled and always by her side. She was a very talented lady who loved to decorate with her Santas! Sandy's greatest joy was taking her two granddaughters on trips and buying them gifts.
Private family funeral rites will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 12, 2022, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St. Marys, the Reverend Jeff Gramza, officiant. Burial will follow at German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
Friends may call from 3-7 P.M. Friday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to Mile Creek Animal Hospital.
