Virginia Drinnen
Virginia Lynn "Genny" Drinnen, age 68 of Celina, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, surrounded by her family, at the Joint Township Memorial Hospital in St. Marys, Ohio.
She was born on September 27, 1953 to the late Cy Thomas and Geraldine (Barnhill) Martin in Celina, Ohio.
She is survived by her children Tracy Goudy of Wapakoneta, Ronda Norris (Doug Burke) of St. Marys, Jason (Lala) Drinnen, grandchildren Jacob Goudy, Sarah Goudy, Alexander Goudy, Erika Miller, Ceatero Drinnen, Liber Drinnen, and great grandchild Grayson Goudy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Bret Brown, brothers Robert Thomas, Don Thomas, Joe Thomas, Jim Thomas, John Thomas, Bobbie Thomas, sisters Mary Byrum, Marge Chaney, Peggy Chaney, Mabel Thomas, and Geraldine McMurray.
Virginia attended Celina high school and she retired from Minster Machine in 2000. She enjoyed painting rocks and loved spending time on Grand Lake and fishing.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home, with Rev. Nan Clancy officiating. Burial will be at a later date in the Swamp College Cemetery.
Friends and family may call from 10:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made out to the Choctaw Nation.
