At 420 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 7 miles north of Union City, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Versailles, St. Henry, Union City, Fort Recovery, Ansonia, Osgood, Burkettsville, North Star, Rossburg, New Weston, Yorkshire, Darke County Airport, Rose Hill, Cosmos, Maria Stein, and Eldora Speedway.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.

Nancy Fowler
Nancy E. (Peggs) Fowler, age 63 of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022 at the St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
She was born on May 22, 1958 in Celina, Ohio to the late Herman and Rose (Donovan) Peggs.
She was also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters-in-law Larry (Becky) Peggs, Donald Peggs, Dale Peggs and her sisters and brothers-in-law Martha Jean Werling, Mary Ann (John) Short and Sharon (Bo) Makley.
Survivors include her two children Brian (Lou Ann) Fowler of Ottawa, Brad Fowler of St. Marys, six grandchildren Collin, Kiersten, Kiera, Gage, Caitlin, Haylee and her siblings; brothers and sister-in-law Billy (Linda) Peggs of Bedford, TX, David Peggs of Montezuma and sisters and brother-in-law Kathy (Chuck) Chaney of St. Marys and Sue Peggs of Celina.
Nancy graduated from Celina High School with the Class of 1976. She formerly managed Gas Stations in the area for years. Then retired in 2012 as a Nurse's Aide from the St. Charles Seminary in Carthagena. She attended the Montezuma Church of Christ. She enjoyed reading a good book and spending time with her grandchildren, they were the greatest joy in her life.
No public services are scheduled at this time. Nancy will be buried in the Burge Cemetery in Montezuma.
The Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, Ohio, is entrusted with Nancy's funeral arrangements and condolences may be shared with the Fowler Family at LehmanDzendzelFH.com.
