Jefferson Charles Dunwoody, age 56, formerly of Celina, OH, passed away March 30, 2022, at IU Health, Indianapolis, IN.

He was born November 29, 1965, in California to Thomas Jefferson and Mary Kay (Manrose,) Dunwoody. On January 23, 1988 he married Jana (Reff) Dunwoody, who passed away July 5, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Surviving are his children: Denise Kline, Coldwater, OH and Thomas (fiance Megan Marie Eggert) Dunwoody, Fisher, IN, two step-daughters: Anastasia (Daniel) Fields, Montpelier, IN and Brandy (Caesar) Harris, Indianapolis, IN. Brothers: Timothy (Lori) Dunwoody, Indianapolis, IN and Charles (Kara) Dunwoody, Caledonia, Ml and a sister Josyln (Mike Littrell), Conway, Arkansas. Grandchildren, Gavin, Elliot, Kenrich, Trenton, Daniel, Larissa, Keira, Olivia, Jaiden, Emma and Braelen. Nieces and nephews: Rueben, Nathan, Aaron, Jacob and Kaylee.

He graduated from Celina Senior High School, Celina, OH. He attended International Business College, Ft. Wayne, and served in the United States Navy. He worked in the food service industry and owned and operated The Cottage Inn in Montpelier, IN.

A memorial service will held at a later date.
