IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation. Locations impacted include... Newport, Fryburg, Montra, Egypt, Uniopolis, New Bremen, Buckland, Botkins, New Knoxville, Fort Loramie, Kettlersville, Moulton, Jackson Center, St. Marys, Anna, Kossuth, Lakeview, Lake Loramie State Park, Waynesfield, and Wapakoneta. This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 96 and 118. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building. Nancy LeMaster, 57, Portland, Ind., died May 16, 2022, in Portland.
Visitation is 2-6 p.m. May 20, 2022, at Fellowship Baptist Church, Portland.
A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. at the church. Burial will be held at a later date in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Portland.
Memorials may be sent to the Jay County Fair Association Tree Fund or Jay County Cancer Society.
