* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1044 AM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen.Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will move across parts of the area this morning, possibly extending into early afternoon. This may result in bands of heavier rainfall that could lead to flash flooding.

Carol Allen
Carol J. Allen, 83, Celina, passed away at 4 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2022.
She was born on Jan. 2, 1939, in Mercer County, to the late Russell and Ocie (Roebuck) Fetters. On July 24, 1960, she married the love of her life, Hubert lee Allen, who died on June 27, 2017.
Also deceased are a sister, Phyllis Kuhn; and an infant brother, Marvin Fetters.
She is survived by her son, Michael (Nancy) Allen; daughter, Connie Sue Allen and granddaughter, Ashley Allen, all of Celina; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She received her registered nursing degree from Parkview Hospital School of Nursing in Fort Wayne, Ind. Carol worked at the practice of Dr. J. W. Chrispin in Rockford and later worked at Van Wert County Hospital for 25 years, first as a nurse and then as a supervisor, before retiring.
She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Rockford, and after moving to Celina, Grand Lake United Methodist Church, Celina.
Carol was down to earth and had many friends. She took great pride in her home, enjoyed a good joke and good food. She loved going for drive in the country with her husband, to whom she was married for almost 57 years. She came to know a group of wonderful women, "the team," who care for her at home and became like family during the past year. Most of all, she loved her family and spending time with them.
The family will receive family and friends 9-11 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, 111 W. First St., Rockford, OH, with the service immediately following at the funeral home at 11 a.m. The Rev. Matt Overman will officiate. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, 3750 US-33 Rockford.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Carol's memory can be made payable to Mercer DD, 4980 Mud Pike Road, Celina, OH.
