* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Ohio, including the following counties, in central Ohio, Delaware, Franklin, Licking, Madison and Union. In west central Ohio, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, Miami and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will move across parts of the area this morning, possibly extending into early afternoon. This may result in bands of heavier rainfall that could lead to flash flooding.

Barbara Sampson
Mary Barbara "Barb" Sampson, 78, of St. Marys, OH died 5:22 a.m. Friday July 15, 2022 at Vancrest of Van Wert, OH.
She was born July 9, 1944 in Lima, OH to Eldon and Harriet (Silvers) Whetstone. On February 12, 2007 in The Villages, FL she married Alton E. Sampson, who survives.
Also survived by: daughter Jennifer (James) Gedert of St. Joseph, MI; son James E. McGlothen, Jr. of Columbus, OH; step-daughter Laura (Tim) Ridenour of Van Wert, OH; step-son Daniel (Sandra) Sampson of Harbor Springs, MI; step-daughter Rebecca M. Sampson of Romulus, MI; 6 grandchildren: Max Gedert, Mason Gedert, Alex (Cheyenne) Gorman, Nick (Hannah) Gorman, Salix Sampson, Ben Sampson; sister Sharon (Jim) Winget of St. Marys, OH; sister Trena (Dennis) Chiles of St. Marys, OH.
Preceded in death by: her parents Eldon and Harriet Whetstone.
She was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1962) and the Ohio State Beauty Academy. A licensed beautician, she worked for many years at the Style Salon in St. Marys. Her favorite pastimes included reading newspapers, coloring, and taking immaculate care of her home. Known for her sense of style, she enjoyed shopping and following various fashion trends.
A Celebration of her life is scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday July 31, 2022 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road in St. Marys.
The family will receive friends after 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
