Light snow across the area early this morning will increase in coverage and intensity toward sunrise in the I-70 corridor. This band of moderate snow will push south affecting the Tri-State region by mid morning, eventually pushing south of the area by early to mid afternoon.
Snow amounts of 1-2 inches will common for a good portion of the area on grassy surfaces, with melting on concrete surfaces limiting accumulations. Main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on mainly bridges and overpasses.
Temperatures today will remain steady mainly in the upper 20s. These cold temperatures combined with gusty winds of 20-25 mph will result in wind chill values in the teens to lower 20s.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Monday morning commute.

Ralph Evers
Ralph Paul Evers, age 75, of Coldwater, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at his home.
He was born on March 24, 1947, in Celina, Ohio, to the late Florence and Anna (Homan) Evers.
Ralph is survived by his wife of nearly 49 years, Irene (Brackman) Evers, whom he married on October 13, 1973, at St. Peter Catholic Church; his 4 sons, Craig (Sara) Evers of Fort Recovery, Brad (Michelle) Evers of Fort Recovery, Keith Evers of Coldwater, Ryan (fiancé, Casey Guisinger) of Fort Recovery; his 2 daughters, Kelly (Matt) Hein of Fort Recovery, and Renee Evers of Coldwater; his 12 grandchildren, Dillan, Megan, Reece, Gavin, Mallory, Makenzie, Drew, Kacen, Abigail, Lanae, Blake and Brixton; his three brothers, John (Mary Jean) Evers of Sharpsburg, Father Linus Evers of Carthagena, Mark Evers of St. Henry; his in-laws, Mary Ann (Urban) Kaup of Coldwater, Eileen (Alvin) Homan of Minster, Ruth (Tom) Hays of Rockford, Dorothy (Ted) Stammen of St. Henry, Jerry (Pam) Brackman of Fort Recovery, Theresa (Dave) Schroer of Fort Recovery; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Evers; a sister-in-law, Mary Lou Evers; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ivo and Norma Brackman.
Ralph was a 1965 graduate of St. Henry High School. After graduation he worked for McKirnan Brothers and was often referred to as the "Candy Man." He spent many years working alongside his wife and children on the family farm; and retired from Fort Recovery Industries after 25 years of service. Ralph was a member of the St. Peter Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, was on the Washington Township Zoning Commission, and served with the Army National Guard. He enjoyed spending time with family and very rarely missed a sporting event or extracurricular event of his children and grandchildren. He was a huge supporter of the Fort Recovery Indians as well as The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Bengals and Cincinnati Reds.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at St. Peter Catholic Church with Father Alexander Witt celebrating. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
Friends and family may visit with Ralph's family on Monday, July 25, 2022, from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and again on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until 9:45 AM at the Brockman Boeckman Funeral Home in Fort Recovery.
Memorial contributions may be given to the EverHeart Hospice, 1350 N. Broadway Street, Greenville, Ohio 45331.
