Snow showers to continue this morning. Slick spots on area roads will be possible this morning with temperatures below freezing. Motorists can expect rapid changes in visibility when encountering some of the heavier snow showers. Northwest winds gusting up to 30 mph will add to the travel impacts due to blowing and drifting snow.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Luella Lochtefeld
Luella A. Lochtefeld age 88, long time resident of St. Rose and recently of Ft. Recovery, died Saturday July 23, 2022, at The Gardens at St. Henry.
She was born on April 11, 1934, in Versailles, to the late Leonard & Marie (Gigandet) Marshal. On October 16, 1954, she married Donald Brunswick and he died October 18, 1960. On February 4, 1972, she married Richard L. Lochtefeld, and he died August 2, 2019.
Luella is survived by children Dale & Donna Brunswick of Rogers, Arkansas, and Sharon & Mark Long of Ft. Recovery, one grandchild, Kelly Long, and siblings and in-laws, Mr. & Mrs. Robert (Marcella) Downing, Joe & Joan Marshal, Gene & Linda Marshal, John Marshal & Karen Greeno, Pat Brunswick.
In addition to her parents and husbands, Luella is preceded in death by a grandson, Shane Long, as well as siblings and in-laws, Thelma & Willard Speck, Lucille & Lawrence Monnin, Mary Evelyn & Ernie Adams, Francis Leonard Marshal, Jerry Klosterman, Mabel Marshal, Connie Marshal, Bob & Tottie Brunswick, Harold Brunswick, Wilma & Clarence Criss, Romie & Jane Brunswick, Aloys Lochtefeld, Fr. Tobias Lochtefeld, and Rosemary Lochtefeld, Rita Fogle, Agnes Lochtefeld, and Ruth Bender.
She was a former member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Burkettsville as well as St. Rose Catholic Church, St. Rose, and the Ladies' Society of Burkettsville and the Ladies' Society of St. Rose. Luella had worked at NCR in Dayton, and the IGA Grocery in Burkettsville.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, August 5, at 10:30AM at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Burkettsville. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Association of Mercer County, or CALL Food Pantry.
