* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations up to one inch. Snow melt and refreezing overnight has resulted in the development of black ice on roads.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...Until 11 AM EST this morning.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute.

Snow showers to continue this morning. Slick spots on area roads will be possible this morning with temperatures below freezing. Motorists can expect rapid changes in visibility when encountering some of the heavier snow showers. Northwest winds gusting up to 30 mph will add to the travel impacts due to blowing and drifting snow.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Mary Ann Harting
Mary Ann Harting, age 89, of Coldwater, Ohio, passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at her residence.
She was born February 7, 1933, in Maria Stein, Ohio, to the late Lawrence and Mary (Schulte) Homan. She married Maurice Harting on July, 3, 1954, at St. John the Baptist Church in Maria Stein, Ohio.
Together they had 1 son, Jim and Elaine (Siefring); 3 Grandchildren, Angie & Jim Wourms, Matt & Kaley Harting, and Gina & Eric Weitzel; and 13 Great Grandchildren, Alaina, Alexis, Easton, Livvy, & Evan Wourms; Rowan, Winsleigh, Gradey, & Laikynn Harting; Kason, Maddox, Reese, & Levi Weitzel. She is survived by sisters Dolores Cron of Coldwater and Dorothy (Daniel) Eifert of Cassella and in laws, Lester Stammen of St. Henry and Ruth Luthman of St. Marys.
She is preceded in death by siblings and in laws, Othmar & Rita Homan, Leonard & Alice Homan, Irene & Roger Will, Viola Stammen, Maurice Cron, Eugene & Marge Harting, Roman & Mary Harting, Richard & Dorothea Harting, Paul Harting, Carl & Bertha Harting, Virginia Harting, Sally & Tom Abele, Walter & Rita Harting, & Lawrence Luthman.
She worked at Leugers Insurance and New Idea soon after graduating from St. John's High School Class of 1951. She also assisted Maurice on their dairy farm for many years. They loved to travel together, visiting nearly all the states and several countries in Europe. She especially enjoyed their visit to Rome and The Vatican.
Mary Ann enjoyed playing all kinds of cards. She and her husband, Maurice, took care of the Monday night Euchre for 25 years. She also was a volunteer at the Mercer Health Gift Shop for 24 years with over 3900 hours served. Mary Ann & Maurice were recipients of the 2018 Outstanding Friend of the Year Award by the MED Foundation of Mercer Health. Mary Ann had a strong faith and enjoyed tending to her flowers. Mostly, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. Mary Ann was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the St. Ann's Sodality, and she sang in the Resurrection Choir for many years. She was also a member of Cassella CFL Branch 943.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, August 1, 2022, at Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater.
Friends may call at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater, from 3:00 to 6:00 pm on Sunday, July 31, 2022, and from 9:00 to 10:00 am on Monday, August 1. Burial will take place in St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
