Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset as temperatures begin to drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

Linda Morris
Linda Gale Morris, 66, of Wapakoneta, OH died 1:52 p.m. Friday August 5, 2022 at Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, OH.
She was born December 2, 1955 in Log Mountain, KY to Caleb and Thursa (Rhodes) Sharp, who preceded her in death. On July 31, 1976 in St. Marys, OH she married Venard H. Morris, who survives.
Also survived by: son Danny (Kim) Roller of Leo, IN; son Matthew (Tara) Morris of St. Marys, OH; daughter Carrie (Dane) Qualls of Toledo, OH; 9 grandchildren: Madison, Kaleb, Emily Gale, Caleb, Mitchell, Gabriella, Haily, Lindsey, Jocelyn; brother Darren (Janet) Sharp of Hilliard, OH.
She was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1974) and attended Rhodes State College in Lima, OH. Linda was a homemaker and was a member of Flagship Missionary Baptist Church in St. Marys. Faith and family were the cornerstones of her life. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Rites are scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday August 12, 2022 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys. Burial will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Visitation 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
