Cloyd Bergman
Cloyd Walter Bergman, age 61, of Fort Recovery, Ohio, passed away unexpected, as a result of an automobile accident, on Friday, August 12, 2022.
He was born on March 10, 1961, in Coldwater, Ohio, to the late Harold "Bob" and Lucille (Bettinger) Bergman.
Cloyd is survived by his wife of 37 years, Pamela (Klosterman) Bergman, whom he married on March 9, 1985; his children, Bradly (Maria) Bergman of Portland, Tana (Corey) Sudhoff of St. Anthony, and Zach Bergman of Portland; his grandchildren, Blaise, Conrad, Regina, Cyril, and Madalyn Bergman, and Loretta, June, and Sawyer Sudhoff; his siblings, Milton (Charlene) Bergman of Fort Recovery, Guil (Deb) Bergman of Fort Recovery, and Lorna (Bill) Mullen of Urbana, Ohio; his mother-in-law, Marcella (Bob) Downing of Greenville; his in-laws, Bill (Charlotte Kissinger) Klosterman of Fort Recovery, and Deb (Ron) Brunswick of Chickasaw; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Cloyd was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Jerry Klosterman.
Cloyd was a 1979 graduate of Fort Recovery High School. He began working for J&M Manufacturing in Fort Recovery in 1986. Cloyd also was a life-long farmer. He loved his antique tractors, especially his Minneapolis Moline and White tractors. Each year, Cloyd enjoyed going to the Tri-State Gas and Engine show where he displayed his tractors.
Family was important to Cloyd. He always had his wife at his side and enjoyed doing life together with one another.  His children, grandchildren and his dog would always light up his face, and he liked taking them on golf cart or ranger rides through the woods. It was not uncommon to find him after a long day of work out in the shop with his wife and kids, doing projects for their business, Bergman Welding and Fabrication.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Fort Recovery with Father Mike Kapolka officiating.
Guests may visit with Cloyd's family on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at Brockman Boeckman Funeral Home in Fort Recovery.
