Area conference races are already sorting themselves out. Elida has risen to the top of the Western Buckeye League, but still has to face Wapakoneta, St. Marys and Van Wert. Wapakoneta is also 3-0 in WBL play, but only has to face one team with a record above 2-2 in its final six games.
Last Season: Elida won the Battle of Bulldogs 42-21. Elida quarterback Larkin Henderson rushed for 105 yards and passed for a touchdown. Celina QB Nick Adams threw for 203 yards.
