Mickeal Hardin
Mickeal E. Hardin, 77, of Wapakoneta, died Saturday, September 17, 2022, at his home.
He was born July 8, 1945, in Celina, Ohio, the son of OJ and Thelma (Clifford) Hardin. He married Susie Whitehead on April 20, 1968; she preceded him in death on November 11, 2012.
He is survived by his children: Jodi Leonard of Celina; Kim Boltz of Celina; Toby (Tracey) Hardin of Greenfield, Indiana; Shane Hardin of Wapakoneta. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Tara (Lily) Keeling; Abbie Leonard; Noah Leonard; Hunter Boltz; Hannan Boltz; MacKenzie Hardin; Ross Hardin. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren: Emma Keeling and Asher Keeling. He is survived by a brother-in-law, Jeff (Lori) Whitehead; by his siblings: Carol Schuler of Kentucky; OJ (Pat) Hardin of Florida; Mike (Irene) Rupert of Massachusetts; Barry (Candy) Hardin of Dayton; Jack Rupert of Louisiana; Deb (Dean) Kyle of Mesa, Arizona; Doug (Lois) Rupert of South Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his parents; by his wife, Susie; by his son-in-law, Jeremy Leonard; by a granddaughter, Emma Leonard.
Mickeal was a 1963 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. He served our country in the US Army during the Vietnam War, and retired from Goodyear St. Marys. He was a sports fanatic and loved the Bengals, Indians and Buckeyes, and he liked to hunt and fish. He was a woodworker and enjoyed antique restoration. His biggest joy was spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of New Start Church of God in Celina.
Funeral rites will be held 4:00 P.M. Thursday, September 22, 2022, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St. Marys, Pastor John Mobley, officiant.
Friends may call from 1:00 P.M. until the time of services on Thursday at the funeral home.
