* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...Through Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A lull in rainfall will continue for much of the day. However, additional storms will move into the area later this afternoon. The risk of heavy rainfall will be greatest tonight into early Friday morning. There is also the potential for storms to repeatedly move over the same locations, which increases flash flood risk.

Norbert Huffman
Norbert E. Huffman, age 91, of Celina, Ohio passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at the Otterbein Senior Life Community in St. Marys.
He was born on June 18, 1931 in Lima, Ohio to the late Harold and Evelyn (Fox) Huffman. On November 25, 1971 he married Shirley Ann Buchanan, who preceded him in death in 2019.
He is survived by his step-children Debra (Ted) Torge of Wapakoneta, Charles Samples of Knoxville, TN, two grandchildren Kylie (Luke) Craft, Kirsten (Alex) Zerfoss and five great grandchildren Cohen, Adler, Oliver, Phoebe Craft and Crew Zerfoss. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law Doug (Linda) Huffman of Celina.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and sister and brother-in-law Shirley (Ron) Edwards.
Norbert graduated from Rockford High School with the Class of 1949. Then proudly served his country in the United States Army until 1954 during the Korean War. He received the Purple Heart and the Korean Service Medal with two bronze service stars for his service during the war on Pork Chop Hill. After serving his country he became the Mercer County Dog Warden and retired from AVCO New Idea in Coldwater in 1976. He was a member of the Grand Lake United Methodist Church in Celina and a member of the Disabled Veterans. He also held membership at the Celina Veteran of Foreign Wars Post #5713.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home, with Rev. Diane Mendelson officiating. Burial will follow in the North Grove Cemetery in Celina, with Military Honors provided by the Celina V.F.W. Post #5713 and the Celina American Legion Post #210.
Friends may call 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Grand Lake United Methodist Church 119 E. Fulton St. Celina, OH 45822.
