* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A lull in rainfall will continue for much of the day. However, additional storms will move into the area later this afternoon. The risk of heavy rainfall will be greatest tonight into early Friday morning. There is also the potential for storms to repeatedly move over the same locations, which increases flash flood risk.

ST. MARYS - On a cool fall night in 1854, Minnie Warren and Jack Billings crossed a bridge just outside of Spencerville as they made their way home from a party.

CELINA - Voters on Nov. 8 will decide whether Republican Angela N. King or Democrat Sophia Rodriguez will win Ohio's 84th District Seat.
The seat, currently held by Republican Susan Manchester of Waynesfield, is part of the recently re-drawn lines for the Ohio House. The current 84th District includes all of Mercer County, southern Auglaize County and northern Darke County. [More]

CELINA - Mercer County voters will determine the fate of a new Mercer County Health District operating levy during the Nov. 8 general election after the levy failed at the May primary election.
If passed, the 0.55-mill, five-year levy would generate $623,120 the first year of collection, according to county health commissioner Jason Menchhofer. [More]
