* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 10 to 20 below zero expected.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to noon EST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

Sub-zero temperatures and wind chill values are expected this morning. While most locations will have values in the negative single digits, some isolated temperatures and wind chills will briefly be as low as 10 to 15 degrees below zero.

Carol Wehrkamp
Carol A. Wehrkamp, age 82 of St. Henry, died on Monday, October 24, 2022, at UC Health Medical Center in Cincinnati.
She was born October 24, 1940, in Carthagena, to the late Othmar & Mildred (Mumaw) Olding. Carol married her husband Thomas Wehrkamp on October 15, 1960. Together Tom and Carol were married for 62 years. Tom survives in St. Henry.
Carol is also survived by children, Doug & Kelley Wehrkamp of Asheville, NC, and Lisa & Jerry Stahl of St. Henry, grandchildren; Ashley Wehrkamp, Thomas Wehrkamp and fiancé Paige Anderson, Tony & Amber Stahl, Brad & Elizabeth Stahl, Kyle Stahl, and Olivia & Kyle McKibben, great grandchildren Beckett and Maren, as well as a sister and in-laws, Linda & Bob Eyink, Kathy Wehrkamp, and Becky Wehrkamp.
In addition to her parents, Carol is preceded in death by a great grandson, Bradley Stahl, her father and mother-in-law, Linus & Esther Wehrkamp, and in-laws; Jim Wehrkamp, and Ken & Susie Wehrkamp.
Carol was a 1958 graduate of St. Henry High School and a member of St. Henry Catholic Church. She was a paramedic for the St. Henry EMS for many years, a volunteer at Mercer County Community Hospital, a member of the Mercer County Elks woman's golf association, and an avid blood donor, giving over 17 gallons of blood during her lifetime. Carol was a dedicated partner to Tom on their turkey farm and was a loving mother and grandmother.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am Monday, October 31, 2022, at St. Henry Church.
Friends may call from 1:00pm - 6:00pm on Sunday, October 30, and from 9:00am - 10:00am on Monday, October 31, at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the "Carol Wehrkamp Playground Fund" to be used toward the purchase of new playground equipment for the St. Henry Elementary School. Contributions can be made at the funeral home or can be mailed to the St. Henry Bank, 231 E. Main St., PO Box 330, St. Henry, OH 45883.
