Grace A. Ball, 87, of St. Marys, died 6:15 A.M. Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at her residence.

She was born July 8, 1935, in Van Wert, the daughter of John and Ada (Miller) Brotherwood. She married John "Jack" Ball on January 16, 1954; he preceded her in death on November 14, 2008.

She is survived by her children: John Ball of Oakwood, Ohio; Theresa (John) Holsinger of St. Marys; Tim Ball of St. Marys; Rebecca Ball of Wapakoneta; Belinda (Joe) Nuttle of Van Wert; Sandra (Allen) Hesse of Mendon; Dale (Deb) Ball of St. Marys; Lisa (Tim) Manson of Mendon; Kathy (Todd) Wint of St. Marys. She is survived by her 35 grandchildren; 91 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; by her brothers Albert Brotherwood and Don Brotherwood; by her sisters Caroline Lunz and Sharon Sloan; by her son, Leroy Ball; by her grandsons John Holsinger, Jr. and Joseph Hitchen; by her daughters-in-law Jodie Ball and Priscilla Ball.

Grace was a homemaker and enjoyed camping, fishing, playing bingo and going to flea markets and thrift stores. She was a very loving, caring person who would always stick up for her kids no matter what.

Funeral rites will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 16, 2022, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St. Marys, Pastor Bob Sweeney, officiant. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.

Friends may call from 4-8 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
