E. Andy Anderson, age 93, of Celina, passed away on December 24, 2022 at his home in rural Celina. He was born on September 15, 1929 in Champaign County, Ohio to the late Oscar and Nannie (Asbury) Anderson. On February 9, 1951 he married Mary (Shaffner) Anderson and she survives at the residence in Celina.

Other survivors included his children, Bill (Pam) Anderson, Sidney, Sharon K. (Ed) Fiely, Maria Stein, Vicki Lynn (Manuel) Luna, Seattle, Washington, Steve (Lisa) Anderson, Pennville, Indiana, Bruce Anderson, Springfield, Ohio, Tim Anderson, Celina, Richard "Rick" Anderson, Celina and Larry Anderson, Arizona; 24 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved pet dog, Dodie.

Also preceding him in death are two sons, Tommy and Gary Anderson; a sister, Dicey Davis; and four brothers, Wesley, Cecil, Clifton and Sylvan Anderson.

Andy proudly served his country in the United States Army in during the Korean War era. Andy worked at several factories in the surrounding communities and retired in 2016 at the age of 87 from Accutech in Coldwater, Ohio.

Andy was a member of Celina American Legion Post #210 and Celina VFW Post #5713.

Funeral services will begin on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Matt Overman officiating; where the family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm prior to the services.

Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery in Celina with military rites to be conducted by Celina American Legion Post #210 and VFW Post #5713.
