Steven Smith
Steven "Steve Fix-It" D. Smith, 66, of Celina, passed away on December 30, 2022 at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
He was born March 11, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Delbert and Ilo (Cox) Smith. On March 24, 1974 he married Linda S. (Jones) Smith and she survives at the residence in Celina.
Other survivors include his children, Melanie Smith, Eaton, Ohio, Steven Smith, Celina and Melissa Smith, Celina; five grandchildren, Ethan, Bridget, Samantha, Jasmin and Ava; and two great grandsons, Rowan and Zyaire.
Steve was also preceded in death by his sister, Beverly Smith.
He was a 1974 graduate of Tecumseh High School in New Carlisle, Ohio. He retired after working various jobs throughout his life. Steve was an active musician and he enjoyed playing the guitar in all the local area bars. He also volunteered playing his guitar for cancer patients during their chemotherapy treatments. He loved his family and friends and will be deeply missed by all.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Cisco Funeral Homes in Celina.
A memorial service will follow the gathering at 3:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Matt Overman officiating.
