Robert Forsthoefel
Robert Forsthoefel, age 78, of Coldwater, died Friday, January 27, 2023 at Community Hospital in Coldwater.
He was born April 4, 1944 in Celina to the late Richard & Lillian (Willhoff) Forsthoefel. On October 22, 1966 he married Janet A. (Remaklus) who died May 8, 2021.
He is survived by three sons, Brad (Jill) Forsthoefel of Cincinnati, Chad (Lisa) Forsthoefel of Cincinnati and Thad (Kari) Forsthoefel of Coldwater; ten grandchildren: Lydia, Nathan (Lydia), Monica, Matthew, Andrew, Evan, Ava, Kenna, Kohen, Kaila; a brother Raleigh (Margie) Forsthoefel of Celina and brother-in-law, John Remaklus of Denver, CO.
He was also preceded in death by a sister Mary Duane (Bill) Wint; and sister-in-law Nancy (Joe) LeBlanc.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater and worked at the former New Idea Plant in Coldwater for over 35 years. Bob enjoyed woodworking and classic cars.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
The family will receive friends before mass after 9:30 am.
