At 1212 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near New Bremen, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Newport, Fryburg, Montra, Egypt, Uniopolis, New Bremen, Buckland, Botkins, New Knoxville, Fort Loramie, Kettlersville, Moulton, Jackson Center, St. Marys, Anna, Kossuth, Lakeview, Lake Loramie State Park, Waynesfield, and Wapakoneta.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 96 and 118.

William Hemmelgarn
William "Bill" Roman Hemmelgarn died Feb. 5, 2023.
He was born on August 10, 1942 in New Weston, OH to Clem H. and Julia (Saalman) Hemmelgarn. He was married to MaryLou (Schacht) Hemmelgarn for 51 years.
Survived by Daughter Leslie & Jerome Muhlenkamp, Fort Recovery, OH and Son Greg & Kelly Hemmelgarn, Portland, IN; Grandkids, Grant Muhlenkamp, Gabriel Muhlenkamp, Valerie Muhlenkamp, all of Fort Recovery, OH and Finn Hemmelgarn, Tuck Hemmelgarn & Sawyer Hemmelgarn, all of Portland, IN. And 3 great-grandchildren with 1 on the way. Also survived by sister Marlene Knapke, Coldwater, OH and brother David Hemmelgarn, Portland, IN.
Proceeded in death by his parents, and brothers Thomas Hemmelgarn and Larry Hemmelgarn.
He owned and operated his farm in rural Portland, IN and worked for Avco New Idea in Coldwater, OH for 42 years until his retirement in 2002. After retirement he drove truck for Cooper Farms until 2011. He was a great dad who like to play ball in the yard, shoot basketball, take walks in the family woods, ride bikes, swim, ride his Gator or 4 wheeler. He was always up for an adventure and we loved to play jokes on him. He always had a great laugh and everyone knew him by that. He loves playing with the grandkids and watching their sporting events. He will be sadly missed.
There will be no arrangements, just a private family affair at some point. Please keep him in your Prayers.
