* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to noon EST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

Gusty southwest winds will become westerly this afternoon. The strong winds and the recently fallen snow is resulting in some blowing and drifting snow, especially across rural and open areas. This may result in rapid changes in road conditions over short distances. Motorists should exercise extra caution.

Russell Petit
Russell William Petit, age 61, passed away on January 4, 2023.
Born on December 12, 1961 to the late William J. and Bessie I. Petit.
Russell passed away in Fort Walton Beach, FL in which he resided for many years with his brother, Gary. He had previously resided in Ft. Recovery, OH and had served with the Indiana National Guard.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Ronald, and Gary.
He is survived by his brother Randall Petit of Celina, OH; sisters, Sandra Newsome of Bluffton, OH, Cindy Ramaklus Hicks of Alva, NE, and Linda Hart of Columbus Grove, OH; nephews, Mike and Mitch Petit, Jason and Justin Newsome, Aaron and William Remaklus; niece, Samantha Hart Shall.
A Christian graveside memorial service with military honors will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery, 161 W. Clinton St., Doylestown, OH, 44230 with Fr. Peter Morris, officiating.
