At 1212 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near New Bremen, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Newport, Fryburg, Montra, Egypt, Uniopolis, New Bremen, Buckland, Botkins, New Knoxville, Fort Loramie, Kettlersville, Moulton, Jackson Center, St. Marys, Anna, Kossuth, Lakeview, Lake Loramie State Park, Waynesfield, and Wapakoneta.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 96 and 118.

Michael Howell
Michael Layne Howell, 65, of St. Marys, OH died 6:26 p.m. Friday February 24, 2023 at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born February 22, 1958 in St. Marys, OH to George William and Ina Mae (Webb) Howell.
He is survived by: daughter Jaime (Jay Tanner) Howell-Collins of Union, OH; daughter Shannon (Erik) Miesse of Englewood, OH; daughter Alexis (Joshua Roark) Howell of New Paris, OH; 4 grandchildren: Austin (Merissa) Hauptstueck, Gauge Miesse, Cody Layne Collins, Lillie Dempsey; one great-granddaughter Arya Mae Hauptstueck; sister Janet (Bill) McGowan of St. Marys, OH; brother George William Howell of St. Marys, OH; brother-in-law John Davis of St. Marys, OH.
Preceded in death by: parents George William and Ina Mae Howell; sister Jean (Bob) Mahaffey; sister Elizabeth "Ann" Davis.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy. An arborist by trade, he operated a tree-trimming service his entire adult life. Master of his trade. Known as the "Tree Man". Mike will be remembered for being fun loving, easy going, never knowing a stranger and for being a joy to those around him. He lit up every room and was loved by all. His favorite pastimes included watching football, golfing, fishing and working on his various vehicles and equipment. Above all, he treasured the time he spent with family and friends.
Rites are scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday March 2, 2023 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys.
Visitation will be from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, prior to the funeral.
Memorial contributions may be directed to his family to defray final expenses.
