  As a freshman, Thieman got some playing time as the Cardinals reached the Division IV regional final for the first time since 1977.

  Two years later, Thieman was a key player in the program winning 16 games and reaching the Division IV district semifinals.

  Thieman gave New Bremen a little bit of everything: Thirty-six 3-pointers, assists, steals and clutch shooting on a team that spread the wealth in the scoring with five other players averaging between 5.0 and 7.3 points per game.

  Next year, Thieman will be the undisputed leader as just he and Hayden Zeller return from this past season's senior-laden roster.
