Occasional wind gusts of 35 to 45 mph are expected today. Winds will mainly be out of the south early this morning, before switching to the west during the late morning and early afternoon. Secure loose objects, and use caution if driving a high-profile vehicle.

Mary L. Hespe, 96, New Bremen, died at 7:20 a.m. April 23, 2023, at Heritage Care Center, Minster.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. May 16, 2023, at St. Paul United Church of Christ, New Bremen, the Rev. Becky Erb Strang officiating. Inurnment will follow in German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
Calling is one hour prior to services at the church.
Memorial contributions can be made to the New Bremen Emergency Squad or St. Paul United Church of Christ.
