At 1212 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near New Bremen, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Newport, Fryburg, Montra, Egypt, Uniopolis, New Bremen, Buckland, Botkins, New Knoxville, Fort Loramie, Kettlersville, Moulton, Jackson Center, St. Marys, Anna, Kossuth, Lakeview, Lake Loramie State Park, Waynesfield, and Wapakoneta.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 96 and 118.

Donna Whitacre
Donna Jeanne Whitacre, age 76, a resident of Berne, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023 at Swiss Village in Berne. She was a former resident of Ft. Recovery, Ohio.
Donna was born on March 19, 1947 in Celina, Ohio, the daughter of Kenneth and Nellie (Grier) Reed. She graduated from Fort Recovery High School in 1965 and married Joseph Whitacre on March 11, 1967.
Donna retired from Kaup Pharmacy in Fort Recovery. She assisted her husband with Ft. Recovery Boy Scouts. She was a member of the Jay County Historical Society, Mercer County Historical Society, Ft. Recovery Historical Society and Friends of the Limberlost. Donna was a former member of Westchester Church and Mt. Zion Church in Jay County. She was a current member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Recovery.
Survivors include: Her husband of 56 years: Joseph Whitacre -Berne, Indiana; 2 children: Mike Whitacre (wife Brenda) - Ft. Recovery, Ohio and Lisa Lefeld (husband Luke) - New Weston, Ohio;
6 grandchildren: Matt and Kelly Whitacre, Jacob and Michelle Whitacre, Dillon and Hallory Whitacre, Tyler and Kaitlin Lefeld, Brandon and Hannah Lefeld and Allison Lefeld; 9 great-grandchildren; Brother-in-law: Bob (wife Barb) Whitacre; Sister-in-law: Brenda (husband Rex) Ehrhart.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. in the auditorium at Swiss Village in Berne. Memorial services will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Swiss Village.
Memorials may be directed towards Swiss Village Activity Fund or Stillwater Hospice.
Arrangements entrusted to Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland.
