Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the Tri-State region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Beverly Fortkamp
Beverly A. Fortkamp, age 54 of Celina, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at the Wayne Hospital in Greenville.
She was born on August 30, 1968 to John and Marjorie (Rammel) Langenkamp in Greenville. She is survived by her children Kyle (Beth) Fortkamp of Celina, Kayla (Brandon) Lovelace of Grove City, four grandchildren Clint, Vera, Ada Fortkamp, Lincoln Lovelace, sister Pamela Langenkamp of St. Marys, brother Roger (Amy) Langenkamp of Celina, and nieces and nephews Hailey Langenkamp, Nathan Langenkamp and Andrea (Allen) Tipton.
Beverly graduated from Celina High School with the class of 1987. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, Eagles, American Legion Post #210, Moose Lodge, and V.F.W. Post #5713. She was the owner and operator of the Celina UPS store. She enjoyed watching the Bengals, the Buckeyes, the Bulldogs, and spending time with her family.
A Catholic Memorial Prayer Service will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Monday, June 5, 2023 at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home, with Fr. Rob Muhlenkamp officiating. A Celebration of Life will follow her services at the Celina American Legion Post #210. She will be buried in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
