Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the Tri-State region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Linda Hight
Linda S. Hight, 77, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, and formerly of St. Marys, died 7:40 A.M. Sunday, June 4, 2023, at Everheart Hospice, Greenville, Ohio.
She was born July 4, 1945, in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of Jesse and Margaret (Keirns) Hight.
She is survived her siblings: Larry (Alice) Hight of San Antonio, Texas; Melvin Hight of Spring Branch, Texas; Deb Murray of St. Marys. She is also survived by her longtime close friend, Laynie Harmon and by Laynie's children and grandchildren. She is survived by her numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by a sister, Diana Vanover.
Linda was a 1963 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. She retired from Honda Manufacturing of America, Anna Plant, as a supervisor. She was a very talented artist and won many awards at the Logan County Fair over the years. She also enjoyed collecting Native American artifacts, gambling and gardening.
Funeral rites will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 10, 2023, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St. Marys, The Reverend Rhonda Hainer, officiant. Private family burial rites will be held at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Saturday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to the Logan County Cancer Association.
