MONTEZUMA- Village councilors expressed their disappointment with the Ohio Department of Transportation's plan to move forward with closing the State Route 219 bridge for a 2025 project despite objections.
Mercer County once again had the lowest joblessness in Ohio in May, although the county's unemployment rate increased slightly.
Mercer County's unemployment rate increased to 2.1% in May from 1.9% in April, according to an Ohio Department of Job and Family Services news release.
