Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the Tri-State region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Sharon Bayman
Sharon M. Bayman, 82, of St. Marys, OH died at 7:39 p.m. on Tuesday June 20, 2023 at Kindred Hospital in Lima, OH.
She was born March 12, 1941 in St. Marys, OH to James and LaVere (Becker) Zimmerman. On April 25, 1958 in Portland, IN she married James "Dago" Bayman, who died October 21, 2002.
Survivors include: daughter Tonya (Bart Glass) Bayman of St. Marys, OH; daughter Penny (Jerry Seaman) Bayman of Lima, OH; daughter Dawn Knous of St. Marys, OH; son James (Michelle) Bayman, Jr. of Delphos, OH; step-son Darrell (Theresa) Bayman of St. Marys, OH; 18 grandchildren 38 great-grandchildren 4 great-great-grandchildren; brother Cloyd (Diane) Zimmerman of Bakersfield, CA; brother Art (Jerry) Zimmerman of Val Rico, FL; brother Bruce (Linda) Zimmerman of St. Marys, OH.
Preceded in death by: parents James and LaVere Zimmerman; husband James "Dago" Bayman; infant son Mark Bayman; daughter Pamela Sue Schwartz; sister Jeannette Carroll; sister Joy Lou (Harvey) Mobley; sister Barbara Zimmerman; sister Donna (Roger) Selby; brother James Zimmerman; brother Gary Zimmerman.
She was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1958). She had worked at St. Marys Cotton Mill and Friendly Tavern. In addition, she was the owner/operator of Wayne Lounge and Spring 223 Bar & Grill for a number of years. She was a member of American Legion Post # 323 and VFW Post #9289 auxiliaries. Her favorite pastimes included crocheting, bowling and playing cards (euchre and canasta). Sharon will be remembered as a hard-working and fun-loving individual. No stranger to heartache and difficult times, she truly believed in the importance of helping others, having guided a great number of persons through the darkest periods of their lives. She accomplished this by providing them with food, shelter and trusted advice when needed most.
Rites are scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday June 27, 2023 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys. Evangelist Patrick Bayman will officiate the services. Burial will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Visitation 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
