Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the Tri-State region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Elaine Trigo
Elaine Nicole Trigo, 40, of Celina, OH died unexpectedly 2:06 p.m. Monday June 26, 2023 in the emergency department of JTDM Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born March 3, 1983 in San Antonio, TX.
Survivors include: son Isaiah Schnell of Celina, OH; daughter Isabeliah Schnell of St. Marys, OH; son Immanuel Trigo-Castillo of Celina, OH; son Israel Baker of Mendon, OH; mother Melinda Sawmiller of Celina, OH; brother Tim Trigo, Jr. of Springfield, MO; sister Ericka Trigo of Crystal River, FL; sister Emily Williamson of Van Wert, OH; brother Alexander Williamson of Van Wert, OH and a large extended family which includes numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceded in death by: father Tim Marco Trigo, Sr.
She was a homemaker.
Her favorite pastimes included cooking and spending time with family and friends.
Rites are scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. Saturday July 8, 2023 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys. Pastor Judy Baker will officiate the services.
Visitation 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be directed to her family to assist with final expenses.
