Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

James Bruns
James "Jim" Bruns, age 78, of Celina, died on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born on March 15, 1945 in Coldwater to the late Raymond & Viola (Wehrman) Bruns
He is survived by siblings, Marge & Walt Albers of Maria Stein, Bonnie Hogan of Enumclaw, Washington, Linda Bruns of Kettering, Chris & Jane Bruns of Celina, Karen Bruns of Columbus, 13 nieces and nephews, 30 great-nieces and nephews and 5 great-great- nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Tom Hogan and a great-nephew, Zach Eilerman.
He was a Veteran of the United States Army. Jim was a graduate of St. Josephs college, earning a degree in accounting. He retired as a Systems Analyst from Central Mutual Insurance in Van Wert.
Jim was an avid reader, especially history. He loved the outdoors and the animals that live within it.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, July 17, 2023 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church in St. Sebastian. Burial will follow in St. Sebastian Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 pm Sunday, July 16 and 9 to 10 am on Monday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
